This baseball season, the Virtual Library is promoting the ALA program – “Step-up to the Plate @ your library” on The Librarian’s Brain. The program is built around baseball and this year’s theme for the questions is diversity. Using databases and websites, patrons answer 4 questions in their age group about baseball and submit their answers to ALA. The Librarian’s Brain has a page with suggested databases and websites and coming soon books we own that will help patrons answer the questions. The idea is to promote information literacy and this is a fun way for all ages to learn how to use the library’s databases.
