The Catalogue of Digitalized Medieval Manuscripts contains over 5,000 manuscripts and is growing.
For history researchers this is a wonderful site.  For the lay person it opens up manuscripts which have never been seen by most. Read more about it in The Chronicle of Higher Education – The Wired Campus

The Library of Congress website is in the following locations in the Infoguides;
Educational Resources (Teacher Resources InfoGuide)
Arts and Architecture (Arts InfoGuide)

http://www.2facts.com/RecordUrl.asp?article=/tsof/science-menu-crossword.asp

These cross-word puzzles cover a specific topic of science such as “Moth Memory” or  “Hair Forensics”.  They offer a couple of articles to read about the topic then provide either a print or online version of the puzzle.  Solutions are available online via a link.

Note: Unfortunately, the interactive version is blocked by the library’s firewall so patrons would have to use the interactive version at home.
