At the Wiener-Rogers Law Library at UNLV, we’ve inaugurated our digital repository – the Scholarly Commons (http://scholars.law.unlv.edu/).
So far, we’ve included the full text of recent issues of the two law journals published at the law school – the Nevada Law Journal and the UNLV Gaming Law Journal – and we’re working our way backwards in time to complete that archive.
Also currently included on the Scholarly Commons –
— faculty scholarship (only a small percentage has been added to date)
— continuing legal education programs (videos, research guides, etc.)
— law school and law library newsletters
We plan to add a variety of other materials to the repository, including law school conference proceedings (videos, papers, etc.), videos of law school events, law school brochures, and faculty presentations. We also hope to partner with the Western Juvenile Defender Center to provide a ‘brief bank’ for attorneys representing juveniles in civil and criminal proceedings.
